Our Thanksgiving

This is dads picture perfect turkey he worked all day to create.

Lauren set the table and then we dug in and ate more than we probably should have.
When all my food was gone, this is wat happened when i got bored at the dinner table....

I carved the stick of butter into a heart

And Dad and I competed to see who can create the best tower out of the napkin holders.

Congress is in Session

We sent Lauren away to military camp for the weekend. -actually she was at a Youth and Government camp at Fort Roberts or affectionantly known as "Bob 1". She spent the week learning about state government, electing delegates and officers in preparation for her upcoming week in Sacremento. Lauren hopefully will be appointed as a Legislative Analyst. There were over 2000 kids that participated in this camp. The Governor came to speak to them...but it wasn't Arnold (it was the youth Governor who was elected last year).

These are the barracks they lived in.

This is the convention hall where all the political speeches were made.

Our Busy Weekend

Dad got up at the crack of dawn to run another half marathon.

Then in the evening Lauren went to our stake "mormal" or mormon formal. Her dress was a one of a kind made by Carol Zimmerman.

A Perfect Paper

In my math class at school my teacher rewards us in a unique way. He used to be a brick layer, so when we get everything correct on a quiz including the bonus he calls it a perfect paper, then we recieve a gold paper brick. You write your name on this paper brick and he puts the bricks up on his walls arranged like real bricks. If you earn 5 gold bricks then you recieve a shiny silver one, this one stays up on his wall forever.

Trick or Treat

For Halloween Lauren and myself had our own parties to go to, so mom and dad had a peaceful evening without us. I was Hannah Montana and my best friend was lola! Lauren went in disguise as herself.

Heres my pumpkin i carved. And yes, it does have a stylish hat because the top wouldnt fit back into where i had cut.

Me as Hannah Montana.

My wacky friends on Halloween.
