First Day!

Yesterday was the first day of school. It is always the best day of the entire year because you are only educated in where you sit, what you are allowed to touch in the classroom, what's off limits, and where the bathrooms are. You are told to "get to know" your friends in your classes and you don't have to run in PE. No homework or classwork. By far this is the most fun day of school. But the first day is always followed by the second day of school which is not all fun and games.....time to hit the books!

The Dog Days of Summer

We are now in the dog days of summer.

The Dog Days of Summer: The period between early July and early September when the hot sultry weather of summer usually occurs in the northren hemisphere.
It got its name because the constalation canis major.

You know summer is getting boring when a 13 year old girl like me is looking up educational terms.

Think Blue!

We went to our annual Mormon night at Dodger stadium! We were even welcomed over the loud speaker. The Dodgers didn't do so well most of the game, but they came through in the bottom of the ninth inning scoring 3 runs. Which put us ahead of the Braves. The game changed very quickly from terribly behind to a triumphant victory. The Dodgers won!

Katie Leaves Soon

Katie leaves in 3 weeks for Utah Valley University. She is so ready to get out of the house! But we will miss her a lot!
