Garden

Looks like our garden is growing!

But the carrots.....not so much.

Ryan and Julie

We went to Washington for our cousins wedding reception. They live in Hockinson. Don't blink or you would miss it. It is a small town with only a gas station, a general store with a cow painted on the wall, and a little yellow house store. Even though you have to drive 20 mins to get everywhere and anywhere, it was kinda fun being in the "middle of nowhere".
Ryan and Julies reception went great and was lots of fun.

Emily's Birthday on Ice

On June 5th Emily turned 13, and she is offically a teenager now! scary!
And of course she had to have a party because it is never an offical birthday if you don't have a party. She just had a small party with her 4 closest friends and they went ice skating! None of them knew how to ice skate so they decided to teach each other to ice skate. But that didn't work very well. There were many falls but they had lots of fun.

Trip to Utah

The Zimmermans recently drove to Utah to say goodbye to Taylor as he gets ready to set out on his mission to Canada. We went and listened to Taylor give his farewell. He did a wonderful job with his talk and we are proud of him (expecially considering the long time he spent on it).
While in Utah Katie went to check out her apartment that she will be living in while attending Utah Valley University. She is so excited about getting out of the house and being by herself where she can be independent (and keep her room as messy as she would like).
All the Zimmerman cousins went to Boondocks, where they drove go carts, went mini golfing, played arcade games, and experienced a 4D movie. The Zimmerman boys were impressed that they went a whole day without being kicked off the go carts. It was some good cousin bonding time.
That night Barry and Emily got to go rock climbing with Eric and the boys. Emily got up the mountain 3 times. Then Barry was convinced to try it. They both climbed and had a blast. Even Emily who was so careful to hike up the mountain and back down without getting a speck of dirt on her new pink shoes had lots of fun.
They unfortunately had to leave Utah and drive the long drive back to California.
